To save you a trip, please pre-sort your books before bringing them in. While our inventory needs can change, we generally don't purchase:

  • Books we already have sufficient stock of
  • Most older or outdated used textbooks
  • Series romances, with limited exceptions
  • Historical romances more than two years old
  • Most computer how-to books
  • Travel guides that are more than a few years old
  • Most non-scholarly religious books
  • Encyclopedias
  • Condensed or abridged books, especially Reader's Digest Condensed Books
  • Almanacs, except those published before 1880 or after 2007
  • Test preparation guides more than one year old

You may need to be aware:

We offer you cash or in-store credit on items you bring in and no appointment is needed, however you must bring your items in at least 45 minutes before closing to give us time to assess your items. You may shop while we evaluate your items. Just know your wait time will be longer on busy Saturdays, so if you are in a rush, pick a day during the week instead. Sorry, but we don’t allow merchandise to be dropped off.
